When I create an odt or doc document with frames marked 'no frames' the outline shows to help me place text. Saving, saves the document with these markings while printing prints the text without the frame outlines. I would like to save a version of the document that looks the sme way it prints.
I am on OO 2.3.0 with XP Pro,

Tools > Options > OO.org > Appearance > General > Object boundaries = NO (unchecked)
I do not recommend turning that off. The frame boundaries do not print and they are helpful for locating the frame while editing.
If you don't want to see them, switch to the File > Page Preview, or toggle the "Edit file" button on the toolbar: when this is in the "read-only" state, no boundaries are displayed.
