When I press Shift+F12 this starts a new (unnumbered) enumeration. The default seems to be a quite large bullet and a wide indent both of which I want to change.
In the list numbering templates (German "Listenvorlagen") I have setup style "Aufzählung 1" to fit my needs. How can I make Shift+F12 to choose template "Aufzählung 1" instead of the builtin default numbering style? If this is impossible: Where can I change the settings of the default styles which are enabled upon Shift+F12?
Thanks for any help.

Tools, Customize, Keyboard, Functions, Styles, Numbering Styles.
Modify the Shift F12 shortcut to assign your numbering style.

I tried this already, and indeed this works for unnumbered lists.Bhikkhu Pesala wrote:Tools, Customize, Keyboard, Functions, Styles, Numbering Styles.

Unfortunately there is a problem with numbered lists. These are bound to F12 by default. I rebind F12 to my "numbering style 1". Assume I press F12 and write a list with items 1,...,n. Then I close the list by ctrl+shift+F12 and resume with some text. When I now press F12 again to start a new list, this new list starts with item n+1 instead of resetting the item count to 1.
In contrast the unmodified F12 shortcut does reset the item count. Moreover, the default action bound to F12 is "Nummerierung ein/aus" (numbering on+off), while assigning my style "numbering 1" obviously only switches the style on but not off again. So assigning my numbering style does not seem to be the exact equivalent of the builtin function bound to F12 by default.
I figured that there is in Tools, Customize, Keyboard, Functions, Numbering a function "Nummerierung neu beginnen" (reset list item counter). I can bind this to, say, Ctrl+7 and then whenever I want to start a new list, hit F12 (to start my new list in my style) followed by Ctrl+7 (to reset the list item counter).
However I wonder if that is really the intended and most straightforward way to integrate my own list styles into OpenOffice?
