[Solved] Macro Installation

Post by sbromber »

I downloaded a macro that was supposed to help with cross reverence of certain items, but when I tried to install it, I got a message that it would not be installed because of some protection against macros. I don't know whether the blocking is due to Windows XP or to the macro itself or what. Any suggestions?

Please describe your problem more precisely. Please read the Survival guide for the forum first. People can often only help you if you tell what version of OOo and what OS you use. Also tell what the message says exactly; how do you try to install the macro; is the message from OOo or from the OS, etc. I'm suspecting that you opened a file with the macro in it and that the message is that the macros in the file have been disabled. Is that correct?
LibreOffice 25.8.4.2 on Ubuntu Linux
