Please can someone help me?!?
I was writing a text document in OO Writer. I finished a paragraph and wanted to put some astrisks on the next line (to indicate a scene change). I typed in 7 (I think) asterisks and hit the cetering button. The astrisks turned into a double line and I can't get rid of it. I can't enter text under it. I can't highlight it, or backspace it out and when I hit enter, it just makes more lines. What in the world did I do? And how do I get rid of it?
Anyone?
Susan

Re: Help with magic astrisks
Wow, you are fast.
I can now type the asterisks and they stay asterisks but I still get the same double lines if I hit enter and I can't get rid of the original one.
How do I get rid of them. I did uncheck "apply border".

Re: Help with magic astrisks
The Apply border feature modifies the paragraph properties and set a bottom border. To remove it, select the text and apply the default formatting (right click or Clear formatting in the Styles drop-down list or CTRL+SHIFT+Space).
