Footnote Layout

i have been searching for a word processor that allows me to change the footnote layout from:

1. [notes]
2. [notes] (new line)
3. [notes] (new line)
...

to something like this (putting all footnotes in one big paragraph):

1. [notes]; 2. [notes]; 3. [notes]; ... (same line)

Can Writer do this?
