The macro I had created in 2.x for formatting characters as hidden with a single keystroke was not in my library in 3.0. When I tried to recreate it (using record macro and stepping through the process), the macro would not retain the step of applying the hidden format...I tried several different orders of execution to no avail. I tried creating a style, but because I use hidden text in various levels of an outline style as well as apart from the outline, doing so reformatted whatever text I tried to apply the hidden style to rather than retaining the structure (e.g. outline), which is unacceptable.
Suggestions??
Thanks!

Re: Hidden characters Macro in 3.0.0
Are you sure the macro is not still in your former profile in the /basic sub-folder?
LibreOffice 25.2 on Linux Mint Debian Edition (LMDE 7 Gigi) and 25.2 portable on Windows 11.

Re: Hidden characters Macro in 3.0.0
Well, no, it's not...but I must just be being dense. After taking some time to look it over I was able to simply set a hot key to turn the "hidden text" on after highlighting the desired section. This is probably how I had it set up in the first place and just forgot...
Sorry for my denseness...
