[Solved] List formatting problem

Post by karolina »

Hello

In MS Word you can format a list-beginning paragraph like this:

Is it possible to make a text look like this in Writer? I mean how can I level it (but except the first line) with the left margin like this:

Thanks for help in advance.

You've to move the bottom cursor of the ruler to the left to create a negative indent.
You can see the consequence in the paragraph properties (right click then Paragraph) : go to the Indents & Spacing tab. The Before text field will be negative, make sure the First line field is equal but opposite.

Better create a paragraph style for such layouts in case you want to modify the settings afterwards.

Thanks to add '[Solved]' in your first post title (edit button) if your issue has been fixed.

NB: .png is a better format for screenshots.
