[Solved] Stop recovery of nonexistent document

Please help. Every time I open OO I get an OpenOffice Document Recovery notice about a document that no longer exists. I'm given the choice of "Start Recovery>" or "Cancel" "Start Recovery" is a rabbithole of unhelpful problem notices saying no document exists on my computer. "Cancel" brings up an "Are You Sure" choice. Choosing YES brings up the program. Is there some way to tell OO that I know the document doesn't exist and I don't give a damn about its recovery? Otherwise I face years of dealing with this 20 - 200 times a day!

You can try to reset your OpenOffice user profile.

I've never had a problem like that.
This kind of issue usually occurs because AOO wasn't installed with administrator privileges.

If you are comfortable with editing XML: thats the quickest solution

With the other solution (creating a new userprofile) you will loose the settings you (may or may not) have set for yourself.
