Database improperly closed

Database was left open. User was also running updates on computer. Database is saved on a network drive.
User has Windows 11 computer 64bit. Apache Open Office 4.1.15
User was prompted to restart so they did. Now they are unable to access the database.
It comes up with a filter selection.
Please advise

Database is saved on a network drive.

Native HSQLDB database is not intended to be hosted on a server.

If your .odb file is on a network drive, there is likely a backup system that can be used to retrieve a working version.
