Will I still be able to open my OpenOffice files after MAC goes to silicon-based processing and Intel-based apps are no longer functional? Is OpenOffice going to convert to a Universal app?


Solved - Since my Mac has an Apple silicon chip, I downloaded the LibreOffice macOS Apple Silicon version. (That version should not be affected by Apple ending general Rosetta support because it is not an Intel-only app.)

LibreOffice can open and modify files created by OpenOffice.
