just today i suddenly can't access any files. i get an error 'you don't have permission to open this file'. i am logged in as admin so this should not happen. it was not happening yesterday. is this an OO error and if so[or not] how do i fix it?

Is that the full text of the error message?you don't have permission to open this file
Are all the files you are trying to open in the same location? What is that location exactly? Does this happen with absolutely every file? Try creating and saving a simple text file with Notepad. Try to open it with Writer and see what happens.
