[Solved] Neue Medium font not available

Hi All, I'm brand new to Open Office, a refugee from the land of iWork, and am in the process of setting up my defaults.

I've established that Helvetica Neue is installed on my mac with 14 styles including Helvetica Neue Medium. Only 13 are available in OpenOffice, all but Helvetica Neue Medium which is my favourite fond for text.

Before anyone suggests alternatives it is paid for and I'm going to use it so save your breath!

I can choose Helvetica Neue Medium Italic then click the italic button in the Sidebar Deck > Properties > Text pane, and it sets the font to Helvetica Neue Medium (Yay) but it's imposible to set this as a default style because the option is missing.

Any ideas?

Can you try with LibreOffice? See [Tutorial] Considering a Switch from OpenOffice to LibreOffice? Some Useful Information.
To make a long story short: it is very similar to AOO and it has been much more updated. It may better recognize your special font.
