I do the books for our local golf. Each month I copy and paste the financials and YTD to new lines below.
Each time, Calc slips up one or 2 cells for referenced cells in the YTD column with basic functions.
I do have an Array Transpose function in one column, (not the offending one) could this be causing the issue?

Re: Calc slipping reference cells when copying
This is likely a problem with the difference between absolute and relative references, but It's hard to say without seeing the formulas. Can you upload a small example document and describe the copy/paste action you use? You can use fake data and just a few lines with typical formulas. To upload a file, click Post Reply and look for the Attachments tab just below the box where you type a response.

Re: Unexpected references used when copying
That's hard to do. Every time I try an EG, it's doing weird stuff.
I use Transpose, to pull figures from a row on one page, to be pasted as a column (B) on another page, then another column (D) on this page adds this to the year to date data.
When I copy this whole set of cells (IE the month of March), to set up the month of April, the column (D) does not copy across the correct cell references.
"Formula wizard TRANSPOSE Function Wizard, Array, Transpose. Mark the Array check box. Select the row cells, then to enter the formula press Shift+Ctrl+Enter.)
The transposed array appears in the selected target range and is protected automatically against changes."
This is correct. But when i copy and paste, it moves a cell down.
I'll try to work out an example, it might take a while.

Um, last time I did this, it worked! So I'll close this and cross my fingers.
