F2 Edit Input Line Not Working

Post by 1800hart »

Greetings and Happy New Year!

I just installed v4.1.16 Open Office and my keyboard is not letting the F2 button edit the input line ... I tried going to the Tools / Customize / Keyboards but couldn't find a solution.

Any suggestions? GROK, ChatGPT and regular Google doesn't seem to help me find a solution. I thought I would try a real human this time! : :D

I didn't realize how much I rely on the F2 button in CALC until it doesn't work anymore ...

I attached a screenshot of what my "Tools / Customize / Keyboards" looks like

Thanks in advance

It's a bit messy. In that view, select Shift+Ctrl+F2 in the bottom pane of the dialog box. In the top view, now Shift+Ctrl+F2 is displayed with Input Line. Press Delete to remove the binding. Now select F2 in the top pane and Input Line in the bottom and press Assign. Now F2 will put the cursor in the input line.
