After OpenAI, Elon Musk would like to buy LibreOffice to integrate it into his Tesla vehicles.

I don't understand that.
LibreOffice is not a “product” that is owned by someone. The naming rights are probably owned by “TheDocumenFoundation”, and this is a foundation under German law based in Berlin, which can go under or be dissolved, but not bought.
Whether a sick mind will then start buying up the companies that contribute to the work (Collabora/GB, Redhat/IBM/USA, ...?) or rely on Trump's help is not something I can judge as a reasonable person.
An attack would most likely be possible by trying to buy out (bribe) the most important developers.
So I suspect the whole thing is a bad joke.
On Windows 10: LibreOffice 25.8.4 and older versions, PortableOpenOffice 4.1.7 and older, StarOffice 5.2
