Auto run presentation from a website button

Last year I created a presentation that opened and ran after a user hit a button on a web page. It used PowerPoint file saved as a PowerPoint show. This longer works as new pp presentations saved as show open in edit mode on desktop and even viewer.

If I use impress to create my presentation is such a feature available?

Summary. I want to auto run a presentation in full screen mode when a user clicks a button on web page.
