Hello --
I have a 244 page document -- I want to replace one word with another -- I selected the "FIND" icon -- I typed in the word Forest as the word to be found and I typed in the word View as the word to replace Forest ..... It would not find or replace but instead gave me the message "Search Key Not Found"
What did I do wrong or is there a code not working in Open Office 4.1.15 preventing a FIND AND REPLACE feature?

OK well -- I am not exactly sure what I did different but when I tried it again it worked and found 54 replacements from Forest to View.

If you had "current selection only" ticked and it wasn't in the selection then you'd get that message box. Clearing the selection would disable that option and lead to a search anywhere in the document. One possibility...

I got it figured out -- It was a "LEARNING CURVE" experience -- I now know that once ALL the characters have been changed/edited -- you get the message that indicates there are NO MORE found to deal with! LOL
