I have Windows 11, 4.1.15
I was working on a file and suddenly the page format changed to double page book format! I don't know how this happened or how to get it back to normal. I've gone so far as to uninstall, clean up then re-install the program, but book formatting remains.

Re: Page format changed
At the bottom right of your Writer window is a set of three icons; select the leftmost one to return to single page view.
Slackware 15 (current) 64 bit
Apache OpenOffice 4.1.16
LibreOffice 26.2.3.2; SlackBuild for 26.2.3 by Eric Hameleers

I hate this damn computer, I wish that I could sell it.
It won't do what I want it to, Only what I tell it.

Re: Page format changed
What you are seeing is an alternate view of your document. The page format per se is not altered.
On the status bar of your Writer window (lower edge of the window) you have the zoom slider at the right end. Just left of that are three icons for page display options.

- Single page (next page will always be below)
- Fit pages in window (next page will be to the right if space is available)
- Two-page spread (first page to the right, then pairs of left/right pages below)

You can also change this view from the menu by /View /Zoom.
