Query form nor working

I have created two tables in oobase 3.0 and forms that work well for each table (entering and editing data)
When I create a query linking the tables together, and then create a form from the query, I cannot enter or edit data.
All tables and forms were created in base (not imported)

In OOo Forms can be connected only to tables for editing data, queries only for retrieving purposes.
