[Solved] Amortization schedule not calculated

I want to just get the monthly payment onto my budget sheet. When I copy and paste an amortization schedule to include it this is what I get:

Enter Values				Loan Summary		
	Loan Amount	 $165,000.00 			Scheduled Payment	 
	Annual Interest Rate	5.990% 			Scheduled Number of Payments	
	Loan Period in Years	30 			Actual Number of Payments	
	Number of Payments Per Year	12 			Total Early Payments	 
	Start Date of Loan	12/1/2024			Total Interest	 
	Optional Extra Payments					

I don't get the schedule payment, scheduled number of payments, and etc. Why not?

Impossible to say, since you did not indicate where you copied the schedule from (some website which you have not revealed?), nor where you copied it to (maybe Calc, maybe Writer, maybe elsewhere), nor did you attach it for us to examine. We are not mind readers here. Attaching a picture of the schedule will be worthless.

For a debt of $165,000.00 repaid over 30 years at annual rate 5.990%, compounded monthly, the monthly payment can be calculated with formula =ROUND(PMT(0.0599/12;30*12;-165000);2) as $988.20. That's the amount you need for your budget sheet.

If you need any additional assistance attach a spreadsheet demonstrating the situation (remove confidential information then use Post Reply, not Quick Reply, and don't attach a picture instead of the spreadsheet itself). I will not help further unless you attach a spreadsheet document.
