[Solved] Err510

In re-writing a previosly correct Formula that was written using the same data, the same references, the same computer with the same operating system, the same version of Open Office Calc, in just trying to make it a little more elegant, absolutely everything looks like it should to be fully and correctly functional, but it tells me I have a missing variable, or two contiguous operators, but I do not, and it insists on adding a extra ) to the end of the Formula. Is Err510 triggered by having contigious operators of different categories suc as comparative, text, reference, etc? There are no instances of ajacent operators from the same category. And why would Calc insist on adding an extra ) to the end? Does this indicate another unspecified error somewhere in the Fomula? Any suggestion or assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Can you upload a sample file? Without seeing the details of the formula, it's rather difficult to tell.
