[Solved] Changes to text create orange underline or strikethrough

Post by JayKal »

When typing text the text automatically gets captured as Hyperlink Text in Orange. When I try to delete (or backspace) text it overwites the text in orange with a strkethrough. How can I reset to enter normal text. Thanks. Jay

Edit: Changed subject, was How to remove Hyperlink Text
While the text may look like a hyperlink it is not, but instead change recording

You, probably inadvertently, activated "Changes record"".

Go to Edit > Changes and deselect Record

The orange suggests you have (inadvertently) enabled tracking of changes - Edit | Changes | Record and Edit | Changes | Show. Turn off those options; optionally use Accept or Reject to manage changes.
