Unusual margin / header I can't get rid of

Does anyone know how to get rid of the header / margin area shown in the screen grab? Sorry for not using the correct term but I have no idea what to call them.

Thank you in advance for any help.

It looks like you have turned on Grouping somehow. Select all of the cells and then choose the menu item Data -> Group and Outline -> Ungroup. You will have to do it once for the rows and once for the columns.
OpenOffice 4.1 on Windows 10 and Linux Mint
If your question is answered, please go to your first post, select the Edit button, and add [Solved] to the beginning of the title.
