I use AOO on PCLinuxOS which has been giving me a few corruption problems lately. One of them is that AOO won't open my password protected spreadsheet accounts, or other similar files. Fortunately they will open in LibreOffice, but I still prefer to use AOO which I've become very familiar with over 24 years. (I started with StarOffice 5).
Any remedy other than reinstalling AOO?

AOO 4.1.14
on various machines running PCLinuxOS (KDE desktop). It all began with StarOffice 5.2 - I've still got the disk!

Please search first before posting. At a very minimum you should at least review your own topics.

I would try reinstalling OpenOffice.
Apache OpenOffice 4.1.16 on Xubuntu 24.04.4 LTS

Thanks, Mr Programmer,
I honestly have no memory of that posting - but I am 86, and find I forget many things these days!
That computer is also very old - 5 or 6 years at least. I think that this crash will give me the incentive to fire up the new one that's waiting on my desk.
