Hi
I have a client who uses Open Office to communicate with clients.
I designed and set up the letter template with an introduction text + footer and header for page one
but I need different margins on all the following pages.
How can I solve this? I can't find where to change this in the menus and Chat GPT cannot help here.
I work with Open Office 4.1.15
Kind regards
Marianne

Re: Open Office Writer: Changing the margins on page two
You will need a separate page style for the page(s) with different margins. There is more information on page styles for example in https://www.openoffice.org/documentatio ... Styles.pdf
See this web search for a number of other sources of information on styles.

I hate this damn computer, I wish that I could sell it.
It won't do what I want it to, Only what I tell it.

Re: Changing the margins on page two
If you want a different page lay-out for just the first page than for the rest of your document/letter, you can use the inbuilt page styles called First Page and Default. Press F11 to open or close the styles list overview. The page styles are on the fourth tab from the left. Apply the First Page style to the first page, at the top of page 2 it will automatically switch to the Default style. Modify the styles according to your client's needs.
