I am trying to import the data from a Google Sheets spreadsheet into Calc. I am able to paste the url of the spreadsheet into the Calc dialog box but then Calc tells me it doesn't exist. I also don't understand what is meant by the data range. Has anyone done this and can give me some guidance?

Perhaps try downloading the spreadsheet to your local computer and then use File | Open from within Calc.
