[Solved] Indentation increases for each line

For a long time I've easily created lists of questions for the interviews I conduct as an author by straightforwardly listing the numbered questions, e.g.:

1. What's your name?
2. Where are you from?
3. How do you earn a living?" etc.

Now, for some reason, Open Office is turning my question lists into Harvard-style outlines, indenting the first question a bit and all following questions even further. This is annoying and distracting and not what I've been doing. There must be an easy fix so I can just have, say, 15 questions, all numbered sequentially and flush to the left margin. Does anyone know what it is?

Hi and welcome to the forum!

If you want to switch off the auto recognition of lists, in the menu Tools > AutoCorrect options, Options tab, uncheck Apply Numbering Symbol.
