[Solved] Error messages make database inaccessible

Post by PurplePix »

Family Tree with Images topic 105062

Chris made this database after helping me in an earlier post. I loaded his media file to understand what he has done and how I might learn from his database.

The issue I am unable to get past the error messages and would appreciate help.

The error messages:
1 Document contains macros.
2 Connection to Data source "FamilyTreeWithPics" could not be established.
The driver class 'org.hsqldb.jdbcDriver' could not be found.
The additional driver path is 'file///C:/Users/......./FamilyTreeWithPics/hsqldb.jar

3 Registered Database at current location on my computer.
4 Have Java 1.8.0_401 installed and showing tools/options/java

Look's as if you need to allow macros to be executed, try menue
Tools/Options.../OpenOffice/Security/Macro Security ... and adjust it at least to Medium:

Thank you that did the trick with the other changes I had made. Now I can work through understanding database creation and operation.
