I have a writer document which is selective as to recognizing email@address.xxx On one line it does, next line it does not. If I copy upper line and paste it into lower line recognition happens. If I type in the text@it.wont work.
The url-arrow is displayed on the blue text only
computer stuff is not reliable, I can rely on this statement.

Re: Writer does not recognize some email addresses
Can you upload a sample file that would show that?
LibreOffice 25.2 on Linux Mint Debian Edition (LMDE 7 Gigi) and 25.2 portable on Windows 11.

It shouldn't happen. You should have to press Enter or type in a space after pasting before url recognition happens. Please upload a sample document.morphingstar wrote: ↑Wed Sep 27, 2023 4:19 am If I copy upper line and paste it into lower line recognition happens.
