Hi dears,
After reading some of the great instructions here, I have managed to get my autocorrection to work properly (by renaming the folder). Thanks!
However, it's only working with the preset words. When I register my own shortcuts, nothing happens.
For example, replace "ts" with "test" --> new --> OK
But then, when writing "ts" it doesn't automatically change to "test."
Could someone please explain what I'm doing wrong?

Re: Adding my own shortcuts in the text expander
It works for me. I take it we are talking about Tools -> AutoCorrect Options -> Replace. I did have a problem when the language of the document was set to a different language than the user interface or locale. That is, under Tools -> Options -> Language Settings -> Language, my User Interface and Locale Setting were English (US) but my Default language was set to Spanish and then the replacement table didn't work. When I switched the text language to English (US), the Replace worked.

Did you also select the option to AutoCorrect while typing when using the replacement table?

I hate this damn computer, I wish that I could sell it.
It won't do what I want it to, Only what I tell it.

Did you type a space or punctuation mark after "ts" to trigger the change?

Hello FJCC, robleyd, and Bill,
Thanks for your quick help. It's wonderful! The advice for FJCC fixed the problem, and I can now add my own shortcuts.
Thanks again
