[Solved] Alteration of Save As dialog

Post by PhilR54 »

Hi - I have been using OpenOffice for a couple of years now and suddenly the other day when I went to use Save As in a Writer doc it gave a different screen. It does the same in Calc. I have attached a couple of screen shots. Screenshot 1 is how it used to be - I created this by creating a new document on the desktop - Screenshot 2 is what happens now - I created a document in Writer.
Howe do I set it so that the Office docs use the same Save As screen as the one in Screenshot 1?

Phil

Try Tools > Options... > General > Open/Save Dialogue Boxes
UntickUse LibreOffice Dialogue Boxes

I'm assuming you're using LibreOffice, not OpenOffice but the same sort of setting would apply in OpenOffice I think too.
LibreOffice 25.8.1.1 (x64) installed to Windows 11 Pro. 25H2
Apache OpenOffice Portable 4.1.15 [Portable Apps]
For Java I use Adoptium Temurin JRE LTS Releases.
