Landscape and Portrait in same document

Post by robi »

Hi all,

My son is the proud owner of a mac book now for 3 months... In school he has computer lessons, actually just word processing for now and they have to use MS Word there (I am trying to get them on to ubuntu  ).

Aron's homework was some pretty basic stuff... he had to get one page in landscape and the rest as portrait and a ton of other stuff we could figure out....

I tried the landscape and portrait on my ubuntu box, no problems... just followed what help offered up... in the mac though, one we did not find the info on HELP so we tried what worked for me... all to no avail.

What is the trick?

Thanks.

Ctrl/click
Or:
In system preferences go to "Keyboard & Mouse/Trackpad" and check"For secondary clicks, place two fingers on the trackpad and then click the button"

Another suggestion: Get a basic book on how Macs work.
