[Dropped] Saved documents do not load

Why can't Open Office open my documents? Windows 10. Documents are there in File Explorer. Open Office 4.1.14 or 4.1.14 neither opens documents.
Re Installed 4.1.14 because it had worked fine before the recent download.

What process do you use to open files, and what happens when you try that process?

First check the task manager (Ctrl+Shift+Esc) and kill any soffice.bin process you see.
If no change, try to reset your OpenOffice user profile.
