I have been using OpenOffice on a laptop running Windows 10 Pro with no problems for a number of years.
I just bought a new laptop running Windows 11 Pro and installed Open Office, first 4.1.14 then 4.1.13
In both Open Office versions I cannot get the "Right to Left" function to work.
First I tried Ctl + Shift + D and that did nothing.
Then I made a toolbar with the "Right to Left" button and that also did not work.
Perhaps related to this issue, I could not add the "Right to Left" or the "Left to Right" buttons to an existing tool bar.
When I made my own custom toolbar, it appeared very small and unexpanded so I could not see the buttons unless I opened the custom toolbar.
I would appreciate any help in solving this problem.
Thanks.

You're welcome.
There is an old report in Bugzilla that asked for CTL activation to be simplified: Issue 93310 - Right To Left text .
