[Dropped] Deleting untitled blank document pages in Writer

How do I delete several untitled odt blank documents, I can't find the info anywhere, thanks, mary

Your title says document pages, your post documents - which is it? Say a little more and it'll be easier for people to help you.

I have three different entries entitled " untitled.odt 1, 2 and 3. When they are opened the page is blank, I want to delete these, they also give me a notice saying they do not exists. Hope this is enough info, I am a senior and not too computer proficient, sorry.

three different entries where? In what circumstance do you get the message saying they don't exist?

If you mean you have files on your computer, eg your desktop, that you want to remove you click on them with the mouse so they're selected and press the delete button on your keyboard, or right click on them and select delete from the menu that pops up. That isn't an OO problem.

If you mean you have unwanted multiple windows open for the same document which may be called
Untitled 1 - Openoffice writer
Untitled 1:2 - Openoffice writer
Untitled 1:3 - Openoffice writer
You just click on the cross in the upper right of the window to get rid of.

Do you mean the temporary files on your Window's Deskop that OO creates when a document is opened - and should remove when its shut again, but sometimes doesn't?

How do you open the documents? Documents that do not exist can't be opened.

Do you mean the list of File menu/recent documents has files which no longer exist (because you've deleted them or moved them) - so when you try and open them you get a message saying the file doesn't exist?
