Check first that you can write a file to your local Desktop, not using onedrive. Then, when we know that your installation works, it may be possible to sort out your connection to onedrve.
OpenOffice 2.0 is very old and dated, as is Windows XP. Consider upgrading both. If you don't want to move to Windows 10, I would recommend one of the versions of linux.
