[Solved] Are differing footnote character styles possible?

Post by Hrodlandson »

OOwriter 4.1.3
The character style "Footnote characters" appears to rule over any New style made from it.
I built a FnChrsOutline using "New" on the "shipped" "Footnote Characters" in the "Character Styles" set but when I use FnChrsOutline it affects more than I want.
It seems to work individually if I limit myself to color settings but font effects seem muddled.
Since the appearance of "earlier" text changes as the new styles are defined I include 3 PDF files* made at successive times to illustrate what happens.
*Third PDF put total size over the limit so it isn't present.

I'm not sure I understand your issue.
Do you want to have the "footnote number" in the footnote area have a different look depending on the footnote?
I think you can have only one Footnote characters style. Thus the answer seems to be no, not possible to have different styles for that.

Please add [Solved] at the beginning of the title in your first post (top of the topic) with the 🖉 button if your issue has been fixed.
