i just recently started using openoffice so i apologize if this is a repeat question.
i find consistently that when i have created a custom style and hit enter, the style randomly changes, usually to a default style. i have gone into "edit paragraph style" and verified that the "next style" is the same custom style, and yet enter will still change it to something else. my docs were originally created as microsoft word docs if that helps.
thank you to anyone who might have some idea how to fix this.

Re: enter changes style?
Hi and welcome to the forum!
It may come from the Apply style option in the Tools > Autocorrect options. Uncheck the entry for typing.
Please add [Solved] at the beginning of the title in your first post (top of the topic) with the 🖉 button if your issue has been fixed.
