And what version of Windows? If Windows 11:

Windows 11 has a new Clipboard Manager - go to Start > Settings, Click Clipboard on the System tab and turn off Suggested Actions; if that doesn't help, try turning off Clipboard History
Slackware 15 64 bit
Apache OpenOffice 4.1.15
LibreOffice 25.2.4.3; SlackBuild for 25.2.4 by Eric Hameleers

Hello,
This is my first post on this forum.
After searching this forum for my issues with copy/paste, cut/paste in Calc on my Windows 11, 64-bit, surface pro 8.... my mystery has been solved....THANK YOU!(shouting with joy!!).

fyi.... the issue presented itself by freezing AOO Calc and making it unresponsive. After a few successful 'file recovery' cycles to no avail, I rebooted, reopened the file and repeated copy/paste with the same results. :( duh :knock:
First thoughts were a corrupted file or program..... checked Java settings - which appeared to be correct, but I uninstalled/ reinstalled AOO and Java anyway .... to no avail.

So, here i am and problem solved! Turn OFF 'Suggested settings" ... and in my case 'History was already turned off....Calc is working properly.

Thanks,
Paul
