[Solved] Cannot save spreadsheets to .ods
[Solved] Cannot save spreadsheets to .ods
I just downloaded the latest version of Open Office, 4.1.13. When I call up a blank spreadsheet, I get a pitch to try MS Office. When I try to save my spread sheet it id's as .xls. When I open a spreadsheet it comes up as .xls and is not usable as it wants me to trial & then buy MS. (I have to activate a trial of ms excel) I tried to force saving as .ods. It saves as xls. This did not happen with previous versions of Open Office, 4.1.5. How do I solve?

Re: Cannot save spreadsheets to .ods
Hi and welcome to the forum!
If you try to reset the file association, does it help?
See: https://forum.openoffice.org/en/forum/v ... hp?t=12918
But also: https://forum.openoffice.org/en/forum/v ... p?t=109033
I would be curious to see if it does the same with LibreOffice. Can you try with a portable version?
