[Dropped] Adding tqp cells when one contains a formula
Cell A100 contains the result of a formula adding A50 and subtracting A75. I can put the result of A100 ($600) in Cell A2 by either copying/pasting or by typing =A100. I now want ro add A2 to the value in A3. When I type =A2+A3 it does not recognize this as a formula and returns exactly what I typed.

I would guess that the cell where you are entering =A2+A3 is formatted as text. Select that cell, go to the menu item Format -> Cells and look on the Numbers tab to see if the Category is Text.

What does "tqp" means in your title???
LibreOffice 25.2 on Linux Mint Debian Edition (LMDE 7 Gigi) and 25.2 portable on Windows 11.
