[Solved] Change from US date to European date with Calc

Dear Sirs,

I would like to know how to modify the date in a Calc column from us to european date

First check that the dates are already numeric dates and not text. To do that, select the menu item View -> Value Highlighting. If the dates are then displayed in blue, then they are numeric dates. Select all of the cells whose format you want to change and then select the menu item Format -> Cells. On the Numbers tab, find the Format Code box and write DD/MM/YYYY in it.

For the entire office suite: Tools>Options>Language>LanguageSettings>Locale
For a spreadsheet document: Change the number format locale of cell style "Default"
For new Calc documents: Create a default template with a modified "Default" cell style.
