copy/paste the "Lorem ipsum" example text paragraph from wikipedia into a cell; use default import settings.
This resulted in all text overlapping many columns to the right.
Inside the cell; I move the cursor to just after the second comma and hit Ctrl-Enter.
When I leave cell; the first word on second line is capitalized "Sed".
Tools -> Cell Contents -> Auto Input = disable does not change this behaviour.
How can I add new lines into cell text without changing to capital letters?

Re: disable auto capital letters?
Solved it myself. After adding new line with Ctrl-Enter,
DO NOT hit ENTER
DO NOT click another cell
DO either one of these:
a) click inside the "input line" area in the formula bar.
b) move cursor to anywhere in text on first line of cell.
Tools -> Cell Contents -> Auto Input = can be enabled/disable does not change this behaviour.
Voila! No auto capitals!

Re: [Solved] Disable auto capital letters?
I was getting "S/T" in caps when I wanted "s/t". I typed "'s/t " and got what I wanted.

In order to avoid overlapping other columns click Format, Cells, Alignment, check Wrap text automatically, OK.
