[Solved] Documents won't print using new internet wireless
I updated my internet provider. I have an HP OfficePro 8620 printer. I went through the Network Setup/ Wireless Settings/ Wireless Setup Wizard steps on the HP printer screen to specify the new internet carrier (Comcast). The printer says that it is connected. The diagnostic printout shows that I have a connection. When I try to print a document from Open Office 4 to the HP wireless printer, nothing happens. However, I can send a fax command to the printer with no problem. Also, I am able to print a printer diagnostic page. I have reinstalled the HP software and rebooted the modem. Why is the printer able to receive a fax command and able to print a diagnostic page, but is not able to print a text document? I select the HP Office Pro 8620 (network) on the Printer Settings.

Can you print from other applications, e.g. Notepad, to the printer?

I hate this damn computer, I wish that I could sell it.
It won't do what I want it to, Only what I tell it.

Tried several other non-Open Office apps. Nothing will print.
Open Office 4.1.1, Windows 10

Try removing the printer completely and let Windows find it again. Go to Settings--> Devices-->Printers and scanners. Click on your printer and select remove. Restart your machine.

When I re-installed I realized that I installed the driver (canon mfp220) as a usb. installing as a network printer on the second install solved the problem.
