Hello everybody,
I want to insert a sound (i.e. smoke) in Writer.
In Word this is done by clicking Insert / Picture / Clipart / sound / click or drag icon to page, and then double click to hear sound.
I cannot figure out how to do the same in Writer. Maybe someone can guide me on how to do it.
Thank you for your help.
Happy New Year!
Ricardo

Re: Sound in Writer
Seems a little silly to classify a sound file under Pictures, doesn't it?ricardomanrique wrote:I want to insert a sound (i.e. smoke) in Writer.
In Word this is done by clicking Insert / Picture / Clipart / sound / click or drag icon to page, and then double click to hear sound.
Inserted as an object, the sound file will initially appear as an icon of an electrical plug, but once the player plug-in and sound are loaded, that changes to a little player bar. You'd have to adjust the size of the object (because it retains the size of the icon that loads) but you can use the arrow selection tool (Drawing toolbar) to drag a selection box around it, and use the green handles to resize it.
Cheers!
