I tried to install 4.1.7 and the installation stopped just short of completion.
When I tried to install it again it said I needed to finish the first installation. and gave me an error 1500.
I rebooted but that didn't solve the problem.
It doesn't show up in the Task Manager so nothing appears to be running.
It doesn't show up as an installed program so I can't uninstall.
Is there a cleanup program that will undo a broken install?

Most of the cleanup programs will clean an incomplete installation.
Personally I like using CCleaner

I think I got past that but I appear to be back to the initial problem.
It just will not finish configuring. I'll close this and start a new thread if I can't find a solution to that one.
