Lost Document

Post by carolmac »

Hi, my laptop crashed and was fixed with no software installed. Re-loaded Open Office but the password protected document that I had is listed but when clicked on opens empty and does not ask for password. Is there any chance of getting it back? I have no backup copy but did email the document to myself but cannot open this either.

Save the emailed document to the hard disk, then try to open it using OO's /File /Open and manoeuvring to the Save location.

OO is usual shorthand for OpenOffice.
