[Solved] How do you format formulas in documents?

Post by 22878 »

In the formula editor there are many ways to edit the look of formulas, including fractional bar thickness and different spacing, but none of this shows when you insert the formula into a document. Is there any way to do this?

You mean the Elements toolbar that is not visible?
Check it in the menu View after having double-clicked the formula.

Please add [Solved] at the beginning of the title in your first post (top of the topic) with the *EDIT button if your issue has been fixed.
LibreOffice 25.2 on Linux Mint Debian Edition (LMDE Faye) and 24.8 portable on Windows 11.

Yes, that is exactly what I was looking for! But I had to click format instead of the view menu while the formula is open.
