[Solved] Page up - page down does not work properly

Hello guys,

I am experiencing the following problem: when I try to scroll down, click page up or page down, I got back while the cursor blinks. It means I am getting back to the position of the cursor. And for example if a big picture is at the end of the document, I can not take a look on it as I am getting back to the end of the text (the end possible position for the cursor).

It would be helpful if someone can help me on that.

Please clarify, OOo version, op system, java version, we could help better if you gives us more detail.

Yep, this sounds weird. What is the behaviour of your up/down keys in other apps? How long is the document you are talking about? More info please so we can help you

Are you using the EuroOffice_Dictionary extension ? If so, deactivate it. There is a bug with it (fixed in the 2.4 version of OOo), developers are working on it, a new version of the extension should be available soon.

Note: My problem is with the scrolling wheel, not the pageup/down, but someone suggested it could be the same software bug...
