[Solved] Spreadsheet changes will not save

When I make changes to a current spread sheet and try to save the changes I get an error message that states "error saving the document" "general input/output while accessing". When I create a new spread sheet and attempt to save it I get the same error messages. I was using openoffice 4.1.5 and when I started receiving these errors, I restarted my computer and made sure my computer was up to date. After receiving the same error messages I downloaded OpenOffice 4.1.7. I get the same error messages when I attempt the same tasks in OpenOffice 4.1.7 that I just downloaded. Any suggestions?
